I figured there should also be an anime guessing thread, can never have too many guess threads. <3

Same as the manga one, guess what series the screenshot I post is from. The winner posts the next one... etc

Rules:

If no one guesses the image within a day, give some hints. The hints should be posted in the post with the picture, and, if there are new posts, also in a new post. If there aren't any new posts, you could either delete the post and re-make it adding the hints (and that way, we can see there's a new update in the topic) or just modify it (and those interested in the game can check it out).

If someone wins and doesn't post an image within three days, it's automatically open. That means anyone can post an image. A first-come, first-serve sort of thing.

Really? I liked it. And that is Sayonara sad Sensei. Aka, Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei. Pretty sure its from the first series, and not Zoku.

That is correct! A fun, if slightly perverted anime. Never have gotten around to watching the sequel, but the original was watchable. At least for me.

Yes, it's Detroit Metal City. Perch wins! That's the lead guy in the Kiss makeup. Yup, it's out this year.

Edit: I'll highly recommend this anime. It's hilarious! The lead is a nerdy guy who is embarrassed to be leading another life as the lead of Japanese death metal band.

Is that Ronin Warriors? If so I used to watch that on tv after Sailor Moon.

I don't have any idea what it is. I never watched anime back then, well, Akira, but never watched Sailor Moon, or transformers or anything else like it.

Oh no... I did tell my hubby that most of you might not have seen it. Though he did mention that it's around the same era as Dirty Pair. He's an avid fan of animes.

Ooh I've never seen that one...I actually really have a soft spot for 80's & early 90's anime and love hunting it down and watching it.
