I'm burned out on that series myself. It seemed like it was never going to come to a conclusion between the main characters. Forgive me, its been awhile so I can't remember the names. I just remember thinking, this would have been a great story if she had gone ahead and married the king somewhere around episode 19 or so. Instead, she went off to play (work for him elsewhere despite his wish she not do so) for another 20 episodes. Then moved on to a second season.
Since I was curious, and I enjoyed the beginning of the series so much, I looked it up, to get more details. In doing so I discovered that the books were still being written, and that the latest one had just been published. (About 8 months ago or so now) In it, she still hasn't committed to the king, despite his obvious attraction to her, essentially begging her to become the queen. (or emperor, I forget) Anyway, just really irritated by the lack of conclusion, so for now, am passing on that series.
