So, I really don't play video games. At all. However, I will admit that, despite this, I'm addicted to Zero Punctuation, Ben "Yahtzee" Croshaw's reviews (they can be found here). A warning, though: they contain quite a lot of swearing, so beware if you're sweet and innocent.

Anyway, I'm just wondering if anyone else likes ZP... or is addicted to it like I am... and waits every single Wednesday for their new dose of it... hehe... yeah. I'm gonna shut up now.

Jamboree is, he's shown me a few of the funnier ones though I don't see them as soon as they hit on Wednesday. Smile

Hehe, I just watched the new one that came out today and realized something: manga really does teach you stuff.

He was talking about a ninja game and mentioned Hattori Hanzo.

Who is a main character in Tail of the Moon/Tsuki no Shippo.

Ergo, I knew who Yahtzee was talking about.

Take that, mom! Manga does teach you stuff!

i dig it. i haven't seen them in a few weeks so when i get back from getting some grub I'll probably have a few to watch.

They had an add for a webseries called "Drawn by Pain" in ZP once.. i think it was one of the first cross advertised. It looks really interesting. If I get some time I'll be looking into that.

I really love that foul mouthed australian.  Even if he's a hate filled little man, it's nice to hear someone call a spade a spade in this world of spin and media ass-kissing.

That said, I have a hard time watching anything else on that site and could only stand about two minutes of that Drawn by Pain series. (Just sayin')

True, true. I tend to run away as soon as the ads start, since the rest of the site kind of scares me.

But I keep coming back for ZP... and to re-watch the console wars episode over and over and over again...

I've seen maybe two eps of DBP and don't get me wrong. it's no waking life. that said

Little Girls Often dream
but some dreams are not made out of candy
and not made for little girls.

when the shows starts with such a ridiculous phrase that sets a bar. it's not a particularly high one. The same way "digitally enhanced live action rotoscoping" made Waking Life. i like the idea of the live action and animation mix. It's the sort of thing that could be used awesomely with the right project (like A Scanner Darkly). Man... now I gotta watch A Scanner Darkly again.
