Cleaning Tutorial:Step 7:Dirt and TextSometimes after leveling the whole scan there is dirt or grey or black smudges left over on the white areas. And sometimes there can be dirt or grey or white marks left over on black areas as well. All you need to do is brush them out. Its better to zoom in to see the dirt better and its easier to brush around the images when you are closer.
Click to see full size image Select the brush tool  and select the color you want in the color palette(0% for white or 100% for black).
You can even adjust the size of your brushes by selecting the size you want at the top below the drop down menu. 
Click to see full size image Now you simply need to brush out the dirt. While you are at it you can brush out the text too.
