Disgaea 3 - Release SoonxD So.. Disgaea 3 is coming soon. August 26 i believe.
Who has it reserved? According to gamestop's website, if you reserve a copy you also get their soundtrack cd..

I want to badly, but we didn't get a PS3 for the wedding and I probably won't be getting one until Xmas if I'm lucky this year. Stupid expensive events interfering with my Disgaea!
Are you getting it on release date? I want to play that one so badly. The whole cast of mains look awesome!

lol that would be cute getting a ps3 for a wedding, when normally people would give boring house appliances. xD
I'm aiming to get it on release date yep. That means with our break, i get one full day of playing in between classes.

Mmmm... Disgaea 3. Curse my PSP for bricking while trying to replay the first game. *grumble*
If perch is extra nice to me, we might get a PS3 sooner rather than later... (who am I kidding, like I'm not eyeing it for myself)

i'd love to get the game. @o@! but i don't have/cannot afford a PS3. if i were to get one, i'd go with the 80GB machine, because it's backwards-compatible with PS2 games...and also more expensive. <___<;;;;
i don't play video games as much as i used to. i haven't even played my "newest" game, and it's been er....ahehehe..way over a month since i bought it. 
i saw a DS version of Disgaea 1 on yesasia...i'd get it if it wasn't so hella expensive as an import. T__T

The DS port of Disgaea 1 wasn't released in the US? We have the PSP version of that one.

Wait, does that mean the other versions aren't backwards compatible? And how compatible is the 80gb one? Hrmmm... more research is obviously in order before this purchase.

I believe the Disgaea 1 for the DS, is planning to come out late September in the US.
@_@ I didn't know some ps3's weren't backwards compatible. Thats new news to me as well. Then again, my sister's the ps3 expert as well as owner. I just mooch off of her's when she's not using it.

I wasn't sure how this game was going to pan out at first (since 2 wasn't so great character/storywise compared to 1) but it seems like Disgaea went back to its roots with 3 and I really enjoyed playing this one through. =3
Maou makes a good main character and Almaz is just the cutest thing. XD D'aw.
