Otome Games?

Does anyone here play Otome games? or do you want otome games in english? do you know what Otome games are? I hope so, but if you don't, Otome games are games aimed at females, dating sims, where the heroine surrounded by bishounens.

I have played, PS2-Angelique Trois, Full House Kiss 2, Mermaid Prism, and Tokimeki memorial Girl's side which I recommend Tokimeki GS to those who want an otome game. IT's a fun game. I also, play Duel Love, which is for teh DS, and the minigames are fun.

There are way more I want, like, Heart no Kuni no Alice, a Alice in Wonderland with Bishounens. Hiiro no Kakera, Will O wisp, and more.

do you play any or want to?

I've played Princess Maker...with the girl that looks a lot like Yucie from Petite Princess Yucie anime (it was based off the games right?), but does that count as an otome game?

I have a copy (at least I hope I still have a copy) of the Meine Liebe game too, though I haven't played it much because it's all in Japanese and I like to read along when possible.

How is the Angelique game? We were seriously interested in the manga at one point so now I'm super curious about the princess and her stable of bishies.

I think Princess Maker was aimed at males cause you play as the father, but I think it doesn't matter anyway. I know the latest Princess Maker, you can be a mother, I haven't played that though, I want to. I think it's cute. I have heard that Petite Princess Yucie was based off Princess Maker.

Angelique games are good. I only have played Angelique Trois, and Angelique on GBA. I'm not good at Japanese yet to fully understand it, but with walkthroughs I found it helps alot. I have read some of the manga that was scanlated by MangaArt?(I don't know if they still do it, it's been a while since they released any chapters of the manga Sad), and watched a couple of the OVA's that were fansubbed.

I have played Meine Liebe on GBA, I do want the PS2 games. >.< the only bishie I got was Naoji, I think, and that was luck. I think, I used a walkthrough, but I don't really remember if I did or not.

I'd be interested in playing an Otome game.  I've played quite a few of the other type.  To be honest, I got kinda bored with them as they're always from the males perspective.  (Not that its bad, its just I like a bit of variety.)  Think my favorite one was Ever 17.  Though there were a couple others that were fairly good.

I never played Ever17. I bought Yo-Jin-Bo, back before Hirameki went out, and that's the only game I have from them, since the others never interested me much, though I liked to play Phantom, and Animamundi.

so, if you can find Yo-Jin-Bo, since it is Otome, though they market it wrong over here I think. It's the only English Otome game, visual novel out. But, in September, Princess debut on DS will be out, it's otome, but mostly for younger players, but I'm planning on getting it anyway. Maybe, they will release more otomes in english in the future. Maybe.
