What's your favourite cooperative computer/video games? My hubby and I have been playing computer and video games together ever since we started dating. It's been 11 years but we still enjoy playing together. I've been playing PC games and only started playing on consoles in these recent years. We even invite our friends over for LAN games.
Kay, back to topic *looking at the shelf*
Here's my favorites (in no particular order):
- Diablo I & II
- World of Warcraft
- Starcraft
- Sacred
- Golden Axe
- Army of Two
- PixelJunk Monsters
- Resident Evil 5
- Rockband
- MetalSlug

Re: What's your favourite cooperative computer/video games?by it's nature i wouldn't call starcraft a co-op game. Though there are a ton of cool co-op maps to download no doubt. and it IS a fun game. Probably the first game i knew my ex-girlfriend to play.
As much as l enjoy Co-op in the more literal sense I rarely get anyone to play with so my coop fun times were with the old school types like Super Mario Bros 3 or Super Mario World. I used to dig Gauntlet (thought I never wasted money on the arcade I was able to get some of my boys to play the Xbox one back in college. Same with Hunter: the Reckoning. X-Men the Arcade and X-Men Legends I've loved in co-op.
Games I would love to try in Co-Op
- Tale of Symphonia
- Zelda: Four Swords
- Zelda: Wind Waker
- Final Fantasy:Crystal Chronicles (Only have one GBA though)
- Lego Star Wars II (and maybe I)
I have Ikaruga and I love it but I would never want to try that with someone. Maybe if I get married and get to really know my wife well. That game is intense. I've had it for 5+ years played it for maybe 18-20 months mostly on and never made it to the end of the third level.

I totally agree with you on starcraft that it's not actually meant to be co-op game. I guess I recall playing Starcraft multiplayer via my 56K modem with my hubby and his friend to play against the computer or team up.
Those were the days when I played all night till early morning and have to crawl out of bed after an hour of slumber to get ready for work. So nostalgic~

I lured Perch back into playing video games at an unhealthy level. We played several MMOs together. A whole lot of WoW, for the most part.
We always play the newest Soul Caliber when it comes out, as you may have noticed.
Wolfkin, Chrystal Chronicles was the biggest load of crap. I mean seriously, they just expect everyone to have GBAs and if you don't, well screw you. Really fun game but would have been a jillion times better if you could have played it with the four ports readily available on the gamecube.
Anyway my favorite games to play with people, lessee:
Soul Calibers
Used to play Golden Eye a lot in the day
World of Warcraft
Final Fantasy XI (I just wish I could solo it)
Dead or Alive series
Power Stone or Poy Poy (A little more old school there)
Halo series
Those are the ones I can think of off the top of my head.

With the Wii and DS it makes so much more sense. The DS is even more popular than the GBA and you could do it wirelessly. It was stupid on the cube but it just makes so much sense on the Wii why on earth don't they try again. Instead we get My Life as King.

ooo! ooooo! I love the Final Fantasy Games, (havent played Crystal Chronicals yet)
<~~~~~ Poor college student, had to spend all her money on 2 books for class and tuition!
I love all the Final Fantasy's I have played. Also, I love Professor Layton and the Curious Villiage on my Nintendo DS. (read a manga once where a girl was playing on a DS and meets a man in the chat room on it; dont know what its called, but it was cute!) Oh yes, and the ever adorable Harvest Moon games are GREAT! Very random, lol! :p (sorry)
<~~~Once again, the poor single college student who has nothing better to do than set with her nose in a book, do home work, read manga, and play video games. So sad!
