Oddly enough, I'm currently listening to Bethoven's 7th Symphony, which will be followed shortly by Brahms 1st.  I recently acquired some of the music from Nodame, and have really been enjoying it.   Its a nice change of pace occasionally.

Classical is a great relaxation, especially when you can hear all the parts that don't make it into movies...have you ever heard the entirety of Wagner's Der Ring des Nibelungen? That's some amazing stuff.

Though my personal favorite is Chopin. Very relaxing for me.

Riot! again. Born For This, to be specific. I can't stop listening to this CD...

Yes, classical music is AWESOME. Chopin's my favourite too~ though I do like Bach as well, especially because he has some easier stuff. But still, my all-time favourite classical piece is Chopin's Minute Waltz, so he wins as far as I'm concerned.

Dog Whisperer - my mother's current guilty pleasure. She watches it at least once a day, then attempts to replicate the techniques shown on our dog. My father then promptly tries to un-train our dog, then they get into an argument over it.

It's quite amusing, actually.

The sound of my compy's aching old bones. Okay, it's not thaaaaaaat old yet, but it's still whiny since I moved about ten GB off my internal HD onto my external HD, moved my eleven GB of smutty goodness onto my internal HD, and deleted about thirty GB of old anime and stuff. So now it's being grumpy and whiny and wanting to go to sleep, and is making sure I know it, too.

Don't you hate it when they develop minds of their own? Okay, not literally, but whatever, you know what I mean...

Now I'm listening to Almost Lover by A Fine Frenzy and cursing the friend who played it to me, because I can't get the stupid thing out of my head. On the plus side, though, she's going to see Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist with me tomorrow, so I can't be too mad at her  Very Happy

She's good for when I'm feeling sad but not totally emo yet. Once I cross that point, it's Iris on repeat, over and over again...

Anyway, now I'm listening to the complete opposite in terms of... well, a lot. Pogo by Digitalism - I freaking love this song. Seriously, I can't go more than a couple of days without listening to it. It's so... glee~ I can't even think of a suitable word. It's just amazing.

Jane's Addiction - Jane Says

I've loved this song since I was a little girl...which is weird when you consider the lyrics...

Don't 'cha go 'way mad - Harry James and his orchestra

over and over and over again.

Random factoid: I'm a 1940's style vocal group coach. See, that is random isn't it. Great song though. Has a modern vibe to it.
