Through use of awesome staff helping with typesetting perch manages to dig her way out of the nest she's been under for nearly four months.

"Sunlight! Sweet, beautiful sunlight! It burns a little, but it's been so long!" our intrepid heroine exclaims!!!

Tragically that's when the email/comments landslide started and she was promptly reburied.

Sunlight? I've heard of it, but I don't quite know what it is myself... does it hurt your eyes as much as the books say it does?

And have fun digging yourself out of that second pile, since we can't really help much with that one.

It's okay puppet minion! Leader is getting kind of used to her cave like existence. I get internet, there's a bed set up, training grounds for the felines and Mr. Perch comes by occasionally with food.

I'm all set up for the zombie invasion!

That seems more like the description of a jail's cell ^^'

My honeymoon did, but luckily I happened to like my companion so I only mostly nom-nom'd an arm off and then taped it back on.

I just noticed the halloween name changes and I love it. The only thing is that it makes me home sick for the US since Halloween is my favorite holiday.

Halloween is my favorite holiday too which is why I was attempting to make the place look all spooky. I just have to settle for changing all our jobs.

And yeah, I'm expecting not to be able to move...I'll tell Mr. Perch to leave me in a patch of sunlight with a plate of cookies and some milk...

Oh well, Thanksgiving is coming up, I'll be making my Cherries and Pineapple Ham, Candied Yams and other various side dishes meal again.

See I'll gets some fruit around all the ham!

We already had Canadian Thanksgiving up here.

My personal theory as to why ours is always earlier is that it gets colder up here faster, so we don't have anything to be thankful about if we wait.

...Seriously.

I just broke out my winter coat and Hallowe'en hasn't even passed yet.

*sigh* At home trying to answer emails, but constantly refreshing CNN for the Presidential election instead.

I am a bag of nerves right now.

I voted this morning, will tune in tomorrow to find out how things turned out.

Not a big McCain supporter, but definitely not a fan of Obama...

No matter who wins, I lose. Always seems to turn out that way though.

Nope I voted on Sunday so now it's just sitting here waiting to see. All three elections I've participated in I've ended up staying awake through the whole thing and then been walled eyed the next day. I expect this year to be no different.

Wait, all 3? You mean just 3 presidential elections right? I mean, I have an election every 6 months it seems like. Sometimes less, sometimes more. County election, bond election... And of course every 2 years we re-elect our congressmen. For that we have to have a primary before we can have a generel election. I don't have a clue how many I've actually voted in.
