post any questions or genres of anime you want recommended to you here or if u have any anime u would recommend to others

here's my recommendations:

newer anime (currently releasing)-
code geass and r2 -> really good meccha and designs are made by CLAMP
soul eater -> the artwork and animation is awesome
macross frontier -> the animation is top-notch

other:
tengen toppa gurren lagann-> not to be underestimated, animation is cool, storyline is amazing and characters are really well developed
Rurouni Kenshin: Tsuiokuhen (ova) -> for kenshin fans, this was in the kenshin manga but was never aired because kenshin got cancelled (considering the end was all fillers >.>) and once again the animation is top-notch
death note -> a lot say its over rated but personally i found it really smart and good for those who like mysteries
baccano -> this anime was definitely underestimated at first but proved to excel many expectations with unique animation and well...excesive gore
gintama -> recommended for those who like comedies, it was hilariously funny
cowboy bebop -> o this is a classic and must watch, especially the movie

well thats wat i have for now (theres more i can't think of at the moment XP)

Ive been bored and would like to watch a new anime. I like anykind of anime but I want to watch an Samurai! I like any and all Samurai Anime I have seen... (Got a thing for Japanese man with a pony tail) lolAny suggestions? Ive already watche Kenshin, Samurai Deeper Kyo, and Samurai Champloo(all I can think of at the moment)... any others that would be good to watch?

Nabari no Ou - modern Ninja stuff. Subtle Shonen-Ai, but only people who want things to develop that way can see it as that. XD

I second Code Geass & r2 - Shonen. Not just good mecha stuff, the plot is pretty wicked, too.

I second Gintama - Shonen, comedy. You never get tired of rewatching an episode.

Birdy the Mighty Decode - Sci-fi, but it's really good. =]

Kamisama Kazoku - Another funny series. It's about the son of God living on earth for training. XD

Paradise Kiss - Shoujo, fashion. From the creator of Nana.

Monochrome Factor - Shonen, supernatural. Another does of awesomeness.

Mahou Tsukai ni Taisetsu na Koto - Supernatural, slice of life. I think this series is very...calming? The backgrounds are very realistic, and I like the characters very much. =]

Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro - Mystery, shonen, supernatural. This also has some funny in it, and one of my personal favs.

YuYuHakusho - Supernatural, shonen, excessive dosage of bishies. Need I say more? XD

HunterXHunter - Shonen, action. From the creator of YuYuHakusho. =]

...I think I'll stop listing nao. There's a couple more I would recommend, but I'll leave it to others. XD

in my opinion kenshin and samurai champloo are pretty much the best samurai animes i've seen but here's some more:

my recommended samurai anime:
Stranger - Mukoh Hadan -> this is actually a movie not a series but the animation and action scenes are really awesome
shura no toki -> it'll take time to get used to the animation and character designs but the fighting scenes are really well done
and thats pretty much all i can think of at the moment

other samurai anime (haven't finished or unsure if its a good recommendation:
peace maker kurogane -> revolves around the shinsengumi and its set in the same time period as kenshin so if u liked kenshin u should give this a try
Bakumatsu Kikansetsu Irohanihoheto -> more samurai coolness but it's a bit draggy at times
Samurai 7 -> i havent finished this one but its got a samurai theme
blade of the immortal -> lots of gore, but its getting a lot of positive feed back

theres some more samurai themed anime that i noe of but im not too sure about them so i dont wanna just give u some random animes >.< lol

Uninhabited Planet Survive ~ ANN
Genre: Sci/Fi, Fantasy, Action/Adventure, Drama
I'm surprised at the amount of people who have not even heard of this series. I saw this years ago and loved it. Too bad its often overlooked~

I've watched it! Animax is transmiting it here ^^. It's quite good (I love the Luna x Kaoru pairing!).

I'm going to recommend Princess Tutu It's a wonderful shoujo, and is a MUST watch for shoujo lovers.

I would like to add a few more to the list

- Blood+ (supernatural/romance/action)
For those like a little romance and vampires it's about this high school girl who discovered that only her blood is able to kill the blood sucking monsters.

- Hellsing (supernatural/action)
anther vampire series... where this really strong vampire is a little crazy, but love a challenge

- vampire knight + vampire knight Guilty (supernatural/romance)
Yuuki's first memory is of a pureblood vampire saving her from the attack of another vampire...

As you can tell, i'm a vampire freak. I don't know why, but vampire stories facinates me. Those three i hight recommend, the first one is my all time favouriate anime. If anyone else know any good vampire animes please let me know!!!
